Help students of any age develop a real understanding of decimals with this concrete learning model. Linear Arithmetic Blocks, LAB, or Decipipes use lengths of PVC pipe to represent decimals based on the thickness of a washer used as one thousandth of the one.
Students can easily group and regroup the pipes and washers to model equivalence, use the four processes (+, -, x, ÷) for simple decimals and compare the size of decimals.
This product is made in Australia and each kit is individually hand-crafted to ensure accuracy (± 1 mm). All edges are finished with the safety of children in mind.
Due to the length of the whole/one pipe, postage on this product is usually calculated on volume not weight by Australia Post. Postage is charged individually per order at cost.
